On the plains of Long Ring Long Land, the vastness of the space causes the animals to stretch out. The plains are cconnected by more island that is consumed often by tide, meaning the high points become the only place one can live during the tide season. On this one plain of the long ring island, Saul Moriah was facing off with an opponent. Neither yet had made a move, and the air between them was dripping wet with tension. Saul's hands were coated in what would obviously be Busoshoku Haki, turning them black and glossy. He watched his opponent, waiting for his first move.

Kant's first move barely constitued as an "action" because it was so simple. His hands began dripping a dark liquid, aching with green hues. It was the singature "sour" acid prdiced by the Sui Sui no Mi, Kant's devil fruit. The droplets sizzled as they hit the ground, melting through the grass and soil easily. Flesh would be meat for the acid's teeth. Raising his hands, Kant fired off a small sphere of the acid at Saul which flew through the air between them. <Distance: 10 feet>
Kant had been sizing up Saul since he had heard of the man, and was eager to test himself on someone of a similar power level. However, the shot was a very basic and easily-dodged move. Odd thay he would start a fight such a way.

Raising his hand, Saul fired off a large laser beam at the bullet of acid, sending it spraying into the air as it struck it. It was clear such simple attacks would do very little on this powerhouse. He flexed his knuckles and eyed his opponent from behind his sunglasses.
Amused by the attack, Saul replied with a move of his own. He moved one foot back and crossed his arms, holding his palms outward so they were pointed at Kant. They began to glow, and suddenly released a barrage of deadly light particles that acted like bullets. Each one was strong enough to punch cleanly through rock, and Saul had fired off about 40 of them directly at Kant. With a meager 10 feet between them, it would not take long for Kant to be utterly obliterated by the attack.

Kant's eyes widened at the sight of the attack. It's immense appearance and gleam provoked thoughts like "holy fuck you're going to die run run run" and similar things. However, Kant didn't run, despite his brain trying to force him to depart as quickly as his legs would take him. His nature was too avoid combat, or work or anything that required effort, but he denied his brain the satisfaction of cowardice and retaliated.
Kant mimicked Saul's movements and almost mockingly performed an identical attack, sending forty bullets of the same size and shape at each one he fired off, effectively canceling the technique out. As a follow up move, something to put him on the offensive, he released a large pool of acid from his position onto the ground which spread over the grass, killing it and eating away at it's green flesh. It had a radius of five feet around Kant, bringing it halfway to Saul. With a thrust of his right hand, a "fang" of acid sprung forward towards Saul's face from the edge of the pool.
